The English Department is excited to announce two new faculty members that will be joining the department this fall. The department welcomes Ato Quayson and Lenora Hanson. Quayson, who received his B.A. at the University of Ghana and his PhD at the University of Cambridge, specializes in African and Post-Colonial Literature. He was the General Editor for The Cambridge Journal of Postcolonial Inquiry and the Chair of Jury for The Etisalat Prize of 2015. Lenora Hanson received her B.A. at the University of Montevallo, her M.A. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She specializes in British and Italian Romantic prose and poetry, 18th/19th century life-sciences and political economy among other things. She has been published in Essays in Romanticism and has work forthcoming in the European Romantic Review.
